If the 350z is a better handling car out of the box than a 300zx why are you questioning? Also it depends on the track and how much power you have. Short, twisty tracks the lightweight and nimble win. On a more long and straight track the big and powerful cars do just fine. So even if the Z is getting spanked by a new porsche 911 with enough power on a straighter road course you might do just fine. You follow me? More than likely though if you had to ask you'll never push the car to the limit where it is really going to matter. Just pick your favorite and don't look back.
